Having listened to Rush Limbaugh from the time his radio show has been syndicated so many years ago, I was never appalled more than hearing that the democratic senators sent a letter to the company Clear Channel Communications president in an attempt to get his show taken off the air from comments made on his show.
The fact that he has the top rated talk radio show on the air, only goes to show that he has a message that resonates with a large group of people. The senators who signed the letter only wish they had as much of an audience as him.
My guess is that this letter was intended to get his show removed from the air waves which is a serious abuse of power.
The original letter was given to Rush who auctioned the letter off for 2.1 million dollars with the proceeds going to the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation. Rush is matching the amount from the auction for a total of 4.2 million to go to the foundation.
He has extended the offer to the senators involved to match the funds as well but to this point he hasn’t heard from any of them.
When are these senators going to realize that the socialization of this country and the abuse of power to quiet descending voices is not going to work.
It’s this level of arrogance that the democrats portrait that is completely tearing this country apart only in a manner to get votes and to divide this country in to classes.
It’s pretty sickening.
Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
John Clark
P.S. Thank you Rush for turning this into a great benefit to the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation and the Eugene B. Casey Foundation for their generous bid on this letter.
John, Your on the mark, man. Here's a Coffee to keep you posting!
