I was talking to my father today about the PGA event going on this weekend and the FedEx Cup. We are both big Tiger Woods fan and my father mentioned to me how he was listening to several interviews with the some of the other PGA pros and how they were talking about when they are in a tournament with Tiger that they are playing for second.
The more and more I think about this, the more I feel they should be playing for second. This is an absolute loser mentality.
I mean, cut the shit!
Now being that I didn’t hear these interviews first hand I can’t speak to who had actually said it but the fact that someone who is a professional would say this completely blows my mind.
Tiger Woods is certainly making huge waves in the PGA but he has also paid the price to be as good as he is. He set the goals and went after them.
He is a testament to anyone who wants to accomplish anything.
The players in the title are just as talented as Tiger, the difference is the determination and the will to win.
My hats off to Tiger for a great win of the new FedEx Cup and I wish you many more wins.
John Clark
P.S. To the rest of the golfers who are playing for second place, that’s where you deserve to be if you are not playing to win.
John, Your on the mark, man. Here's a Coffee to keep you posting!
