I’ve been delaying my posting on this matter, for a little while as I internalize the subject matter and then it occured to me when I read MSNBC’s update this morning.
How can someone in their right mind pit two animals together with the intentions of one killing the other with betting involved?
Michael Vick, if convicted, should be put in cage with several of the same animals he pitted against the other and defend his life against them.
I don’t understand it.
His co-defendant already pleaded guilty to the charges, which would lead me to believe it won’t be long before Michael Vick is convicted. i could be wrong but I’m sure there was some sort of involvement by Michael Vick.
If someone can point out some positive aspect to dog fighting, I would certainly like to hear it. I’ve been thinking about it since this story came out and I can’t quite wrap my mind around it.
Then my mind goes to how someone who has the world by the b*****, financially, big sports star with fans all over the world. Took good care of himself physically to become a star in the NFL, what could he have been thinking to set something like this up. How could someone convince someone like Michael Vick, who obviously thought enough of himself to become a star in the NFL, to participate in such a vial, cruel venture.
I’ll be interested in how this turns out. If he is found innocent, well then he will have to live with the thoughts of whatever participation he had. If he’s found guilty, then I’d be curious to see what the sentence would be.
