I had a young lady comment to me about how I don’t know about being alienated and I have no right to say what I said and that has been gnawing at me a little bit since yesterday.

As I have to admit, I certainly do not know what it is like to be alienated, but I do know what an excuse is and how it is very easy to make an excuse. An excuse is saying any thing other than, “I am responsible.”
The one thing about life that I have seen over and over again is that it is very easy to blame other people or situations for our actions. And that this is also a very common way of life for most people.

How about taking responsibility for the actions you have taken. Are you that powerless that you have to blame other people or situations for your actions?

This is obviously easier said than done, because if it were easy everyone would be doing it.

The one thing it takes to be responsible for your life is character. It takes a person who is confident with themselves to make sure that they take full responsibility for their actions.

The minute you try to get yourself off the hook for your actions, you lose. Period. End of story.

When you rely on outside circumstances and people to make you happy, you lose.

When you take full responsibility for your life and your actions, you win.

You may fail on certain things but the minute you look at your life and understand that you are the artist of your life, you put yourself in a different category.

You put yourself in an elite group of people who are making things happen, and who live happier more productive lives.

And the great thing about this is you have the choice.

You can make the decision to take full control over your actions and thoughts.

How are you going to choose?
