I’ve given this a week or so to look at both sides of the story and I have come to the conclusion that the tirade that Alec Baldwin made on his daughters cell phone should be considered child abuse.

How was his daughter to function normally the time between he left the message and the time he got to California to be with his daughter.

I’m certainly thinking this was a serious misjudgment of action. As a father I could certainly see his frustrations. I am a divorced father and I see my kids frequently and there are days when I don’t get through on the phone. This stuff happens. I am fortunate enough to live close enough to my kids that I see them very frequently.

I think it is a shame that Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger have to be going through such a horrible divorce. You would figure that with their affluence that they should be able to get past their differences and raise their daughter with her best interest first and foremost in their minds.

I’m sure her regrets what he has done and I think that Kim Bassinger should be ashamed of herself for letting this get out to the media, the same media that has so often pandered to their political connections. It’s almost like the media has stabbed them in the back.

But I guess that the way it goes in show business. How does it go?
